Mastering Node-Based Workflows

Once you're comfortable with the basics of Loomix, it's time to level up your workflow game. Here are some advanced tips and tricks for getting the most out of the canvas editor.

Tip 1: Use Reference Images for Consistency

When creating a series of images with a consistent style or character, use IP-Adapter reference images. Simply add a reference image node, upload your style reference, and connect it to your image generation node.

Tip 2: Chain Multiple Generation Steps

You can connect the output of one Image Node to the input of another for multi-step generation. For example:

  1. Generate a base composition with text-to-image
  2. Refine it with image-to-image at a lower denoise strength
  3. Upscale the final result

Tip 3: Use ControlNet for Precise Control

ControlNet nodes give you fine-grained control over composition:

  • Canny edges for outline-based generation
  • Depth maps for spatial composition
  • Pose estimation for character positioning

Tip 4: Save Workflow Templates

When you create a workflow you love, save it as a template. You can reuse it later with different prompts and references, saving time on complex setups.

Tip 5: Batch Generation

Use the batch generation feature to create multiple variations of the same prompt. This is great for exploring different possibilities and finding the perfect result.
