Working with References

Reference images give you fine-grained control over AI generation. Loomix supports multiple reference types for different use cases.

IP-Adapter References

IP-Adapter lets you transfer the style or appearance from a reference image:

• Style Transfer - Match the artistic style of a reference
• Character Consistency - Keep characters looking the same across images
• Influence Strength - Control how much the reference affects the output (0-100%)

ControlNet References

ControlNet provides structural control over composition:

• Canny Edge - Follow the outlines of a reference image
• Depth Map - Match the spatial depth of a scene
• Pose Estimation - Position characters based on pose references

Multiple References

You can use multiple reference images simultaneously:

1. Add multiple reference image slots to your Image Node
2. Assign each reference a different control type
3. Adjust individual strength values
4. Generate with combined reference guidance

Tips for Best Results

• Use high-quality reference images for better results
• Start with lower reference strength and increase gradually
• Combine IP-Adapter (style) with ControlNet (structure) for maximum control
• Save reference setups as workflow templates for reuse
